Chocolate Chip Cookies And Mind Control

This recent piece from the New York Times on how food makers know how to appeal to both emotional and physical desires within us is beyond fascinating.

It seems that many food products are constructed and produced in a very specific way so that they both goes down the right way and also give you those great feelings of euphoria.

Basically, we are slaves to the chocolate chip cookies sitting on our counter tops, and it can lead to overeating. But former FDA head Dr. David A. Kessler has a new book that might help you take a little more control.
