Construction on Bloomington's Switchyard Park will temporarily close a section end of the B-Line Trail for two days this week.
The trail will close at 8 a.m. Wednesday and will re-open at 7 p.m. Thursday. The section slated for closure is from S. Bryant to W. Grimes, with a detour using S. Rogers.
A statement says construction crews will be installing two pedestrian bridges near where the skate park will be.
The long-awaited park will be 65 acres and will follow the old railway line. It will include a splash pad, dog park, performance stage and large green spaces.
The statement says "substantial completion" on Switchyard Park is expected this November.
