Indiana State University has grown by more than 300 students from a year ago for a total fall 2013 enrollment of 12,448. According to press release issued Wednesday, it's the highest number the campus has seen since 1972.
University spokesperson Dave Taylor says along with a large incoming freshman class, ISU is seeing an increase in graduate students enrollment. Taylor says this is partly due to the creation of new masters and doctoral programs in the field of health care.
