Melting Snow, Rainfall Leads To Lowland Flooding

Lowland river flooding will develop late this weekend and continue through next week.

Forecasters are not predicting significant flooding as in December, but the combination of melting snow and nearly an inch of rainfall by Saturday afternoon will cause lowland flooding.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service have issued flood warnings for many rivers in Indiana including:

-Driftwood River

-Eel River

-East Fork White River

-White River

-Wabash River

-White River

-Wabash River

High waters will continue much of next week.
