Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Indianapolis say an upper wave is to blame for more snowfall for central Indiana on Friday.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for Terre Haute, Bloomington, Columbus, Bedford and Seymour on Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Three to four inches of snow may create difficult travel conditions throughout the day.
