Carl Cook, the heir to the Cook Medical Group fortune, is at the top among Indiana earners on this year's Forbes rankings. His wealth is valued at $5.9 billion, which places him 86th overall.
Also making the list is 79-year-old Herbert Simon, who in addition to being the owner of the Indiana Pacers is the cofounder of Simon Property Group. Simon has a net worth of $2.3 billion.
Dean White, a real estate developer and former owner of Whiteco Industries, ranked in with $1.96 billion, and Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay made the list with a worth of $1.74 billion.
Bill Gates topped the entire list again this year – with a net worth of $81.2 billion.
