Citing his record as a state senator, Jim Banks, R-Columbia City, says he's committed to bringing positive change to Washington. Banks confirms to WOWO that he's running for the U.S. House in Indiana's Third Congressional District.
This comes after Congressman Marlin Stutzman announced he's running for the U.S. Senate.
Sen. Banks says he plans to address supporters Tuesday afternoon at Allen County Republican Headquarters.
He has served in the Indiana State Senate since 2010, and spent the last eight months in Afghanistan with the U.S. Navy as part of a joint forces mission.
