An Indiana University Media School professor is spending his weekend at GenCon in Indianapolis as he debuts his first board game.
Mike Sellers has been working on his game for three years. The game "Our Town" focuses on the stressors of working and living together.
Sellers says players have to work together while remaining competitive.
"I'm not just telling a story. I'm saying here's a pallet and you can paint your own story with it" he says. There's nothing like that in any other creative endeavor."
Sellers says that being a part of GenCon is a thrilling, but stressful experience and is eager to receive feedback on his game.
GenCon attendees will be able to play "Our Town" at Gen Con from noon to 2 pm and 4 to 6 pm Saturday at the Indianapolis Convention Center.
