Morning Headlines: Tuesday, December 15, 2015

Good morning! These are some of the stories we are following today.

1. Indiana extends the deadline for a Farm Bill conservation program. 

Indiana's National Resources Conservation Service has announced it has extended the deadline for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).

The program is meant to fight many environmental concerns such as soil erosion and water quality. The new deadline is January 22, 2016.

2. Indiana congressman to run for national convention delegate seat.

Congressman Luke Messer, R-6th has announced he is running for an convention delegate position for the 2016 Republican National Convention.

Wish-TV reports that  Messer is concerned about the possibility of a brokered convention.

3. The Pacers have broken ground on their new practice facility. 

The Indiana Pacers have begun construction on their new $50 million practice facility located downtown.

The new facility will be 130,000 square feet and host not only a practice court, but offices, as well as a training and medical facility.
