Community leaders and activists are celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Speakers at Bloomington's Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Leadership Breakfast discussed inequality, social justice and role of the individual in spurring on social change.
Juvenile justice reformer Adam Foss says working for social reform is a year round responsibility.
"When we talk about the power of one, it's not about that one individual, it's not about that one speech or that one march, it's about the power that each and every one of you have, not to take one day off to celebrate the civil right movement but to understand that the civil rights movement happens in each and every one of you every single day," says Foss.
The event was part of a number of activities put on by Indiana University and the city of Bloomington, culminating in a speech by Foss tonight at 7 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.
