Daybook: Board Of Education Meeting & Little 500

Good morning! Here are some of the stories we'll be following today:

  • The State Board of Education meets today to discuss intervention at seven failing schools. The SBOE held a public meeting Wednesday to hear from parents, students and educators of three of the schools. Follow Claire McInerny ( @ClaireMcInerny) of our StateImpact Indiana team ( @StateImpactIN) for updates from the meeting.

    • Today on Noon Edition, our guests will discuss palliative care in Indiana in light of a recently-signed bill establishing a Palliative Care and Life Advisory Council. Sen. Mark Stoops, D-Bloomington, and Dr. Lyle Fettig join hosts Sara Wittmeyer of WFIU/WTIU and Bob Zaltzberg of the Herald Times. Tune in today at noon on WFIU.
