With rain showers and below-freezing temperatures predicted for Halloween night, City of Bloomington officials say scheduled trick-or-treating is still a go for Thursday.
City spokesperson Yael Ksander says the city only moves trick-or-treating hours in the case of dangerous conditions.
“I don’t think we have that in the forecast yet,” she says.
National Weather Service predictions show a high of 51 degrees and a low of 29 degrees on Thursday, with a 90 percent chance of rain. And that rain could turn to snow after 11 p.m., when temperatures drop below freezing.
