On March 30, a Monroe county circuit court granted a temporary stay for members of the Tri Delta sorority at Indiana University.
Members will be forced to move off campus following the revoking of their charter in early March. Residents were told they had until April 2 to move out of the house on 3rd Street, but the stay grants them an extension for 14 days.
According to court documents, the stay will allow for members to stay in the house for 14 days without the threat of eviction.
Although current and former members have rallied to try and save the chapter, efforts have come up short.
