Early voting for the 2020 general election began early Tuesday in Indiana.
Crowds stretched around the block outside Election Central in Bloomington. People in line said it took about an hour to cast their votes.
Inside, poll workers were allowing people inside one at a time to maintain social distancing.
It was among several measures to reduce the risk of COVID-19.
Workers require voters to wear masks, and they provide pens during the check-in process.
Plexiglass also keeps voters apart from workers. And tables set up to mark ballots are distanced, with spaces marked out to separate people.
