IU Sigma Chi on cease and desist for hazing

Indiana University placed fraternity Sigma Chi  on cease and desist for hazing Thursday.   

All Sigma Chi activities are suspended until further notice. Sigma Chi joins Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated and the Indian Student Association on the cease-and-desist list. The Office of Student Conduct investigates hazing reports. Sigma Chi has been disciplined before for endangering others, failure to comply with IU and county COVID-19 directives and hazing.   

The fraternity joins 20 other organizations subject to discipline. All but the Indian Student Association are in Greek Life.
