Blow your mind at WonderLab this Pythagorean Theorem Day! Explore hands-on triangle challenges, math-inspired art, and puzzles throughout the museum, and discover how one ancient theorem still shows up everywhere — from architecture to nature to the numbers on today's calendar.

Fun Fact: Pythagoras was kind of a radical dude in his day — he ran a secret society of math-obsessed mystics, believed numbers held the key to the universe, and mixed geometry with music, philosophy, and a little bit of showmanship. For Pythagoras, math was mind-blowing.

Embrace the endless creativity of mathematics. Join us at WonderLab for Pythagorean Theorem Day — a once-in-a-lifetime date when the calendar does the math for you: 10-24-26 means 10² + 24² = 26².

ractice the art of drawing from observation in this hands-on still life drawing class! Each class will feature a new arrangement of objects for students to observe and interpret through drawing. You’ll explore composition, proportion, light, value, and different drawing techniques while building confidence in your observational skills.

This class is open to adults, as well as students in Grades 10–12, and is
welcoming to artists of varying experience levels. The class will primarily use
vine charcoal, with pencils also available for those who prefer working in graphite. Students with previous still life drawing experience are welcome to bring their own preferred drawing materials.

Each week, STEM Saturday invites kids and caregivers to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on fun that sparks curiosity and creativity—turning learning into a true adventure.
First Saturday of the month, S for Science.

Fourth Saturday of the month, M for Math
Any fifth Saturday of a month is, M for Maker

or looking to build a strong foundation.
No prior musical experience is required. Bring your own ukulele or lend
one from TAF at no cost!
In this class, you'll:
• Learn foundational ukulele skills and basic chords
• Explore beginner-friendly songs and playing techniques
• Learn the basics of music theory
• Build confidence playing the ukulele

Baby Brilliance is a weekly program for infants / pre-walkers and their caregivers. Each week participants will explore themes related to infant development. Inspired by the book, “Experimenting with Babies,” by Shaun Gallagher.
