This week’s sub-zero temperatures caused some damage to Bloomington High School South.

Monroe County Community School Corporation Information Officer Andrew Clampitt says a frozen pipe burst in the Atrium of the Bloomington South vestibule area around the time of dismissal on Thursday.

"Our cleaning crews got to work right away and had it all cleaned up by 6 p.m. last night," Clampitt says.

Classes continued as normal Friday.

Temperatures are expected to reach 60 degrees by Monday.
