Attorneys appeared in court today for a pretrial hearing of the case involving two of John Mellencamp's sons.
Hud and Speck Mellencamp and Ty Smith, the son of the IU head baseball coach, face battery charges after their reported involvement in a fight in Bloomington that seriously injured another person.
The three did not appear in court today.
Their attorneys met with the judge and the prosecutor and requested an additional pretrial hearing so they had time for further preparation of the evidence.
The next pretrial hearing will be May 1 at 9 a.m.
