Two Indiana schools top the list of best public colleges in the country. In the report from Forbes Magazine, Indiana University-Bloomington ranked 18. Purdue, West Lafayette came in at number 25. The top three public schools on the list are military institutions: United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy and United States Air Force Academy.
In the overall list of top colleges Notre Dame ranked 17 followed by DePauw University at 91, Earlham at 92, IU-Bloomington at 107 and Purdue University at 119. The full list is available here.
This is the seventh year Forbes has partnered with the Center for College Affordability and Productivity to produce the rankings. Their survey asks questions aboutstudent satisfaction, post-graduate success, graduation rate and academic success.
