Stutzman Taking 'Deep Look' At Running For Majority Whip

The defeat of Eric Cantor has Republicans looking for a replacement.

Indiana 3rd District Representative Marlin Stutzman says he is "taking a deep look" at running for Majority Whip. Stutzman says he‘s not one to complain about leadership, and says if he doesn‘t like how leadership has been operating he "will do something about it."

"I want a red state conservative and if no one is interested in running than I'm going to take a look at it," says Stutzman.

Stutzman also says he will support California‘s Kevin McCarthy to replace Cantor as House Majority Leader.

Republicans will meet in a closed-door caucus next Friday to make their choices.
