Monroe County Clerk: Voter Received 'Bogus' Notification

One day before the General Election, Monroe County Clerk Linda Robbins is warning voters about mailings with false voting information.

Robbins says a voter who called her Monday morning said he received a pink card saying his polling location had been moved.

Robbins says her office did not send any of these notifications, and voters polling locations are the same unless they were notified in the spring.

"We are grateful for people who come out to vote on election day, and I'm very disappointed that someone has taken it upon themselves to confuse any voter," Robbins says.

She says her office printed all its notifications on neon green paper.

Robbins says this is the first occurrence in Monroe County.
