Rep. Matt Ubelhor, R-Bloomfield, has defeated Democrat Jeff Sparks and Libertarian Ashley Qualkenbush for the District 62 State House of Representatives seat.
District 62 encompasses a majority of Green County and portions of Monroe, Martin and Daviess counties in southwestern Indiana.
Ubelhor has been a member of the Indiana House since 2010 and serves on the Ways and Means, and Natural Resources Committees.
He is the operations manager of Viking Mine for Peabody Energy.
