Morning Headline Roundup: Friday, July 24, 2015

Good morning! Here are a few of the stories on our radar today.

1. Indianapolis-based Anthem has agreed to buy Cigna in a $48.4 billion dollar deal.

The combined company is projected to have $115 billion in annual revenue and will cover about 53 million people.

2. State officials are ramping up efforts to target sex trafficking.

Officials made door-to-door visits to Speedway businesses this week, posting fliers urging victims of sex trafficking to call a state helpline.

The state it also encouraging everyone to call authorities if they see early-teens who seem unusually fearful and under an adult's control.

3. Seven decades after the sinking of the USS Indianapolis, some of its survivors are getting together for a reunion.

Two torpedoes ripped through the USS Indianapolis on July 30, 1945. Five days later, 317 people were rescued and 883 sailors died.

Only 32 survivors of the worst naval disaster in U.S. history are still alive today - 14 will attend the reunion this weekend.
