Museum Highlights Indiana's Limestone History

Friday was the kickoff for a month-long exhibit at the Wylie House Museum in Bloomington.

The exhibit features photographs of historical Indiana limestone quarries, mills and building sites.

At the reception Friday, a retired professor from Indiana University's architectural program Duncan Campbell who owns an abandoned quarry gave a presentation on the history of limestone in Indiana.

The exhibit is free and is part of a larger effort celebrating Limestone Month.
