Right To Life Groups To Rally Around The State Today

Indiana Right to Life and local organizations will hold demonstrations at noon today in South Bend, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and Bloomington, as part of a national effort in more than 70 cities across the country.

The rallies are in response to videos posted online purportedly showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of fetal body parts and tissue.

Cathie Humbarger of Allen County Right to Life says it will be less of a demonstration and more of a peacefully rally.

"We're not political, we're not advocating for any political party or candidate," Humbarger says. "We're asking people to not bring any signs or signage, so to the best of our ability there will not be any pictures of aborted babies."

Right to Life advocates are calling for an end to any federal support to Planned Parenthood.

Earlier this month Gov. Mike Pence announced he is calling for an investigation of all Planned Parenthood locations in the state.
