Gas is cheap in the Hoosier state, as crude prices stay below $30 a barrel this morning.
The average price for a gallon of gas in Indiana this morning was around $1.65--about 18 cents lower that it was this time last week, 37 cents lower than last year, and about 18 cents cheaper than last month.
While that $1.65 price might not seem that low compared to months past, you don't have to look far to see the impact of the sub-$30 crude price.
North and Southwest of Indianapolis today prices have fallen closer to $1.30 range.

A couple of stations in Northern Michigan have managed to get National attention--they are locked in a price war and because of it are selling gas for around $.47 a gallon, but both stations are taking a loss with that price, and it's not reflective of market prices.
