Good morning! Here are some of the stories we're following from around the state:
1. Kinsey Institute is changing its research focus under new director Sue Carter.
Carter was named director about a year ago. She wants to focus the direction of Kinsey on sexual trauma, the transgender movement and medical interventions that can have an impact on a person's sexuality and relationships.
2. Early predictions show good weather for the start of the spring planting season.
Meteorologists predict farmers will be able to begin field work in March, and rains in May will help crops get off to a good start.
3. The Freedom Train is returning to Holiday World for the amusement park's 70th anniversary.
The ride, originally called Santa Claus Land Railroad, was replaced by a new ride in 2013. Park officials say they're bringing it back this year on Holiday's World's 70th anniversary because it's an important part of the park's history.
