Headlines: Feb. 9, 2016

Good morning! Here are some of the stories we're following from around the state:

1. More parents join a suit challenging a live nativity scene at an Elkhart high school. 

Two more parents have joined a federal lawsuit that challenges the live Nativity scene in Concord High School's annual Christmas Spectacular concert. And, the 'Elkhart Truth' reports the parents are seeking to remain anonymous because they are worried about what will happen if their names become public.  At least one death threat and public backlash followed a lawsuit filed on behalf of a Concord father and son who claim the live Nativity scene is unconstitutional.

2. State Museum set to unveil "significant" Abraham Lincoln artifact. 

A news conference is scheduled this morning to unveil the artifact from Lincoln's time growing up in Indiana

3. Phillippines has temporarily banned the importation of all poultry from Dubois County. 

The government ordered the temporary ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their products, including poultry meat, day old chicks, eggs, and semen originating from Dubois County, Ind.
