Headlines: February 4, 2016

Good morning! These are some of the headlines we're following from around the state:

1. Indiana Senate passes 'Kirk's Law,' setting up child-abuse registry.

SB357, which passed unanimously, would create a public online registry of those convicted of child abuse.

2. Gravestones knocked over at Jewish cemetery in Fort Wayne.

Police are reporting approximately 50 gravestones were toppled, although no graffiti or anti-Semitic marks were found. The Jewish Cemetery Association said the last time one if its members visited the plot was Jan. 7.

3. Indiana counties are still struggling to set up needle exchange programs.

Twenty-three counties aside have expressed interest in needle exchanges, but only two have managed to set them up. Advocates are calling on Indiana to lift the ban.
