Good Morning! Here are some of the stories we are following today!
1. Indiana revenue back in the black for August after July missed targets
Indiana revenue for the month of July was lower than expected, however better than expected income tax payments helped improve the August numbers.
The state collected just over $1 billion in revenue in the month of August, and beat the state's budget forecast by 0.6%.
2. Indiana could be the number one state for students receiving school vouchers.
Indiana could potentially beat out Wisconsin this year for the most students receiving vouchers to attend private schools.
The state's voucher program gives public funds to students to attend private schools if they live in an area of an under-performing public school.
3. State wants motorists to be aware of slow moving farm vehicles during harvest season.
Several state agencies are teaming up to help remind Hoosier drivers to be cautious during the harvest season.
Indiana law requires that farm vehicles have red-triangle warning signs posted on their vehicles to inform drivers that the vehicle typically travels at 25 mph or less.
