Morning Headlines: Tuesday, September 15, 2015

Good Morning! Here are some stories we are following today.

1. Tuesday is the start of Indiana's tax amnesty program.

The Indiana Department of Revenue is set to unveil their plan today for this year's tax amnesty program.

The program is for any person or business with past due taxes, allowing them to pay without any penalty, interest or collection fees.

2. Soccer is coming to Kokomo.

Soccer is coming to Kokomo. Mayor Greg Goodnight and M-K-E Sports & Entertainment announced Monday that Kokomo Municipal Stadium has become host to the Premier Development League's 65th soccer team.

Next May will kick off the as of yet unnamed team's inaugural season in Kokomo.

3. Pacers owner asks court to rule that his sister-in-law has no stake in team. 

Pacers owner, Herb Simon is asking a court to rule that his late brother's estate has no ownership claims to the team.

ESPN and The Indy Star report that  court documents that were supposed to be redacted revealed the filing. A court date in Hamilton County has been set for October 16.
