Severe Weather Hits Record Rainfall, Record Temperatures

This year has seen some unusual weather, from record rain to record high temperatures.

Indiana has been hit with severe rain all throughout the year, from debilitating floods in July to the heavy rains this past week.

"We had record rainfall for the month of July. Not only for the month of July, but it was our wettest month ever," says Al Shipe of the National Weather Service. "At least up through today, for the Indianapolis area, this is the warmest December in 126 years."

But don't worry: Shipe says we'll be back to normal winter weather before long.
