Recent water quality tests show another month of lower levels of Disinfectant By-Products.
Bloomington is taking monthly samples of the water to check the levels of DBPs, a containment that can be linked to health risks.
The most recent samples show levels are still within the limits established by the EPA.
"As the warm weather comes to an end, we expect a seasonal downward trend in DBP formation," City of Bloomington Utilities Director Vic Kelson said in a statement.
The city has been taking a multi-faceted approach to addressing the DBPs in Bloomington's water which include changes to how the water is chlorinated.
