Daybook: Bicentennial Stamp & Zero-Waste Facility

Good morning! Follow our reporters for today's top stories:

  • The U.S. Postal Service is set to issue a stamp honoring Indiana's bicentennial that will feature a native Hoosier's photograph of a brilliant rural sunset. The Postal Service will host a stamp dedication ceremony Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Indiana Statehouse in Indianapolis where the stamp will be available for purchase to those attending. The stamp comes as Indiana celebrates the 200th anniversary of its statehood.     • The IU Natatorium will be reopened today and is set to become a zero-waste facility by the time athletes arrive for the Olympic Diving Trials on June 18. Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett will dedicate the facility at 4:30 p.m. Follow WFIU News ( @WFIUNews) for updates from the event.
