Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Gregg and State Superintendent Glenda Ritz will hold a press conference at 11:00 a.m. to explain their plan for implementing and funding universal preschool in Indiana. Gov. Mike Pence has recently expressed interested in federal money to expand preschool, despite refusing the funds in 2014. The Indiana Department of Environmental Management will hold a public hearing today to discuss the plan for closing coal ash dumps throughout the state. Written comments from the public are also welcome until June 30. The public hearing begins at 1:00 p.m. at the Indiana Government Center South, Conference Center Room C.
