Expect More Noise From Camp Atterbury In Coming Weeks

Military officials are warning about additional gunfire and explosions coming from the Indiana National Guard's Camp Atterbury during training exercises over the next couple of weeks.

The exercises involving about 13,000 soldiers are scheduled to last through Aug. 20 at the base near Edinburgh.

Atterbury spokeswoman Capt. Jessica Cates says some of the training will be done through the night and more military convoys will travel on roads around the base.
