GM Employee Issues Challenge To Trump To Keep Jobs At Kokomo Plant

A General Motors employee is appealing directly to President-elect Donald Trump to save his job.

After GM announced this month that it would cut about 160 jobs at its Kokomo plant, employee Jeff Bennington wants Trump to step in.

In a video posted to YouTube, which includes shots of empty parking lots built for employees, Bennington challenges Trump to keep his promise to save American jobs.

"The overriding message is to challenge Trump and his team that he's putting together to do what he promised in the election cycle," Bennington says.

Bennington says Trump's efforts to keep Indianapolis' Carrier plant from moving to Mexico makes him optimistic. He hopes similar efforts will spread to Kokomo.
