Indiana home sales are up more than 9 percent so far this year compared to the same time period in 2015. That's according to new data from the Indiana Association of Realtors.
But, at the same time, the number of new listings is down by more than 3 percent. It's part of a national inventory shortage.
The combination of high demand for homes and low inventory continues to drive up prices. The average sales price of a home in Indiana is $163,588.
