Indiana's Billionaires: The Four Richest Hoosiers

Carl Cook is the richest person in the Hoosier State, according to Forbes Magazine's annual list of the world's billionaires.

Cook is the heir to the Cook Medical Group fortune. He is currently worth $4.8 billion and is ranked 298th overall, down from 2014 when he was worth $5.9 billion and ranked 86th in the world.

Cook beat out three other Hoosiers, all worth over $2 billion each.

Herbert Simon is the owner of the Indiana Pacers and the co-founder of Simon Property Group. He is worth $2.8 billion, up from his worth of $2.3 billion in 2014.

Dean White is ranked third in Indiana. White is a real estate developer and former owner of Whiteco Industries. He was worth $1.96 billion in 2014 and is now worth $2.4 billion.

Finally, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay made the list again with a worth of $2.4 billion, up from $1.74 billion in 2014.

Bill Gates is once again ranked the richest person is the world; he is worth $75 billion.
