The Indiana University Men's Basketball team is ranked 6th in the country according to this week's AP poll. Last week, they were ranked 11th. The bump comes after the team upset Kansas on Friday night. In the game, guard James Blackmon Jr. earned a Co-Big Ten Player of the Week honor. It's the first time he's received the accolade. Freshman Curtis Jones Jr. was named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week.
The Indiana University Women's Basketball team maintained their rank of 23 in the nation with a record of 2-0. Tyra Buss scored her 1,000th point during the team's defeat of Vanderbilt on Sunday.
