Listen: Lt. Gov. Candidates Discuss Arts In Indiana

The Arts Administration Program at the Indiana University Bloomington School of Public and Environmental Affairs hosted a forum featuring the Republican and Democratic candidates for Lieutenant Governor Tuesday night.

State Auditor Suzanne Crouch is the Republican Party candidate and State Rep. Christina Hale is candidate for the Democratic Party. The Libertarian party candidate Karl Tatgenhorst was sent a formal invitation to participate and did not respond.

The candidates began the forum with opening remarks, then individually answered questions submitted by IU students and arts advocates.

About the Candidates

Christina Hale has represented House District 87 in the General Assembly since her election in 2012. She has served as Chief Communications Officer for Kiwanis International and in various roles with the Indiana Department of Commerce.

Suzanne Crouch is the Chief Financial Officer for the state and was first elected to that position in 2014. Before becoming Auditor, Crouch served as the State Representative for House District 78.
