A disappointing Colts season came to an end with a 30-24 victory over the Tennessee Titans Sunday.
Josh Freeman got the start for the Colts, completing 15 of 28 for 149 yards and a touchdown while Ryan Lindley worked mostly two minute drill situations and went six of 10 for 58 yards and a touchdown.
Indianapolis did their part by winning but needed nine other outcomes to go their way to qualify for the postseason. The Colts finished the season 8-8.
All the attention now shifts to the fates of both Chuck Pagano and General Manager Ryan Grigson. Pagano received a game ball from the team in the locker room and players all agreed that if they had their choice Pagano would return.
"Love that guy. I've only been here for a year but I can see why everyone in this locker room wants him back," defensive end Kendall Langford said.
Pagano noted in his postgame press conference that he will meet with owner Jim Irsay on Monday.
