Tonight At 6 On ‘Indiana Newsdesk’

Coming up on Indiana Newsdesk:

Tornadoes ripped across the state this week, devastating parts of a community that were hit not too long ago.

After collectively serving more than four decades in prison for a crime they didn't commit, two men are enjoying life on the outside. The Wrongful Conviction Center at IUPUI eventually found the evidence that would clear the men, but coming up we'll explain why their fight to clear their names isn't over.

The state will not appeal a court's decision to overturn the conviction of an Indiana woman charged with feticide for ending her own pregnancy. Coming up, a legal expert joins us to talk about Indiana's sentencing guidelines and what that means for when the woman will be released from jail.

Those stories plus the latest headlines from across the state Friday at 6 p.m. on Indiana Newsdesk.
