President-elect Donald Trump met with Indiana State Health Commissioner Dr. Jerome Adams Monday, driving speculation that Trump could appoint Adams to an open seat in his administration.
In a tweet Adams wrote that the two discussed healthcare, community health, and the cost-saving element of prevention efforts.
Adams tweeted once more about the meeting, saying he's focused on working with incoming governor Eric Holcomb and Gov. Pence to keep Hoosiers healthy.
A spokesperson Tuesday said Adams was unavailable for comment.
