  • If you've been looking for an excuse to visit one of Indiana's state parks this summer, your excuse has arrived.

In celebration of the 100th birthday of our great state parks, you can visit any location on June 4 and 5 for just 10 cents per person! That was the cost of admission when the parks first opened in 1916, the very first year of operation.

State park entrance fees range from $7 per vehicle to $12 per vehicle, depending on the location and whether or not your car has Indiana or out-of-state license plates.

Annual entrance permits are $50 for Hoosiers and $70 for non-residents per year, and gets you into all 24 state parks as well as state recreation areas and reservoirs.

Join me at Versailles State Park for some hiking on Saturday, June 4!

Follow me at @Becca_Costello for more details.
