Saturday is National Public Lands day, and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources is celebrating with lake cleanups, trail work and more.
The day is the nation's largest single-day volunteer effort for public lands. Many state parks are free all day to encourage volunteering.
Last year, volunteers worked almost 90,000 hours at state parks, on National Public Lands day and throughout the year.
