The trailer is out for the feature film based on the USS Indianapolis disaster near the end of World War II.
"USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage" stars Nicolas Cage and Tom Sizemore and premieres Memorial Day weekend.
Japanese torpedoes sunk the Indianapolis July 30, 1945. Three-quarters of the ship's 1,200 sailors died either in the blast or in the waters of the Pacific – from dehydration, exposure to the elements and sharks.
This is the first feature length film about the tragedy. Its release date is around the same time as a documentary, "USS Indianapolis: The Legacy", which features recent interviews with many of the remaining survivors of the disaster. Some of them have died since they were interviewed - only 23 of the 317 who survived the sinking are still alive.
Late last year we talked to a survivor when he visited Indiana to mark the 70th anniversary of the sinking of the USS Indianapolis.
