Construction on $200 million worth of improvements to Indiana's Toll Road is delayed because of weather. The 80/90 PUSH project includes improvements to pavement and bridges along a 73-mile stretch of interstate from Lake Station to Elkhart.
A spokesperson for the project says construction is pushed back to next week because of snow and low temperatures.
Once the project starts, traffic will be reduced by one lane in each direction from Lake Station to the SR 49/Calumet Avenue exit and from mile marker 43 to mile marker 51 near LaPorte.
Construction is expected to be complete by December 2017.
