Loan forgiveness halted, insulin prices, secretary of state race | Indiana Newsdesk

A court has temporarily halted President Biden’s student loan forgiveness program that could affect 40 million Americans saddled with loans. Experts suggest you should still apply for forgiveness while the court mulls a decision.

Protestors rallied outside Eli Lilly Company in Indianapolis demanding it make the cost of insulin more affordable. Lilly is one of three major companies nationwide that produces the drug to combat diabetes.

And we sit down with two of the three candidates looking to succeed Republican Holli Sullivan as Indiana’s Secretary of State. Republican Diego Morales declined to be interviewed.
