A two car collision resulted in one death Tuesday.

According to a preliminary sheriff’s investigation, a 24-year-old Springville driver in a Chevy Silverado was headed south on Curry Pike when they ran the traffic light, hitting an 81-year-old Bloomington driver in a Honda CRV who was turning left onto Vernal Pike from the northbound Curry Pike lane.

The 81-year-old was taken to IU Health but died from their injuries.
